Dr. Clarence Lee

Dr. Clarence Lee was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He graduated from UCLA in 2013 where he received a BS in Biochemistry. Clarence then remained at UCLA to complete his dental training and earn a DDS degree. During dental school, he traveled to Vietnam for a mission trip, which sparked Clarence's initial interest in Periodontics. Clarence is pursuing his Master's in Periodontology and working on developing microfluidic devices to study periodontal disease.

Mr. Aaron Compton B.S

Aaron graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Physiology and Developmental Biology.  Currently, he is a class of 2020 DMD candidate at the Oregon Health & Science University.  Aaron is exploring PGRP1 effects on PDL function as part of the Dean's Fellowship program.

Dr. Alex Louie

Dr. Christopher Alex Louie is originally from San Francisco, CA and graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with a B.S. in Biology in 2012. He then completed his dental school training at Oregon Health and Sciences University in 2016. Following graduation, Dr. Louie worked in Los Angeles and Torrance, CA as a general dentist. Alex is pursuing his Master's in Periodontology and is evaluating PGRP1 as a biomarker for periodontal disease. 

Mr. Rishal Sharma

Rishal graduated from Mt Hood Community College with his Associate of Science and Associate of General Studies degrees. He then transferred to PSU and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Upon graduation, he plans to become a Dental Hygienist and eventually a Dentist.  Rishal is studying novel protein- protein interactions of PGRPs as part of his Undergraduate Biology Honors Thesis program at PSU
